Let’s talk about this Amber Cole situation. For those who don’t know, I will give you a run down of who Amber Cole is. Amber Cole is a 14 year old female child who is in middle school. So on the day of October 17, 2011 a video devoured the internet and twitter timelines, making it to you tube before being removed from numerous accounts. In this video 14 year old Amber Cole is said to be performing oral sex on a male student of the school during a recess session on school campus. Amber Cole fights the assumptions that this is her in the video. Her and other people are claiming that the name said in the video was “Nicole” and not Amber Cole. The reason I found this situation important enough to comment on was simply because though it soared through the internet, due to the fact that we are only seeing the back of this young teenagers head as she is performing oral, who is to say that it may not be Amber Cole. It may just be this “Nicole”. Also this situation has brought much awareness to the ideas of cyber bullying. Throughout the @AmberColee and @DaRealAmberCole twitter timeline people are protesting and supporting the young teenager. Vowing to protect her from the scene of cyber bullying. Also throughout twitter's timelines you will see that people are furious about this video. I can see why, you have to think about the entire situation...ummm what does this say about our future ad the youth who will have the powerful positions in the future. Where is her mother during all of this? I have yet to hear anything. Hmm, moving right along here, People need to be more considerate of others. Even if it had been the young girl in the video or another, and though it surfaced on the internet and cause much rage and distress we still as sensitive people need to realize this is an embarrassing moment for SOMEONE and that the right thing would be to get this video off of the internet because it would be used for nothing but to either drive someone to suicide, self-harm or bad examples for other youth to follow. Either way the outcome will not or can not be anything positive unless we take this situation as a lesson instead of a chance to attack another human as if we are the animals of the wild. Someone has to think to be considerate of Amber Cole or the alleged “Nicole”. Cyber bullying has become a serious thing within our world of internet and entertainment and it is time for it to come to an end. It is time for bullying in general to come to an end because if people were to put themselves on the other end ((those who are being bullied)) I think it would bring a abrupt end to the bullying situation because it is never ok to belittle anyone or feed upon their self-esteem, confidence and fears. In a world where everyone wants to be accepted ((regardless of the hardness we tend to show)); we all want to be accepted, and in a world where this is achievable, everyone should be given fair chance. Remember we are our own worst enemy as well as harsh critic…we don’t need the help of another. Stop the bullying~!~ And if it is her in the video then why are we as people acting like this comes as a surprise. Count the many times you’ve performed oral…without lying to make her situation wrong. LOL ((sorry for laughing)) and just a warning for those linking the video on you tube and twitter they are searching carefully for those who post it, so remove it from your timeline or you could be doing time for child pornography. This is just a heads up…in no way am I a snitch…the police or none of that. Just letting everyone know that they are NOW cracking down on this Amber Cole situation as far as the cyber bullying and video is concerned.
